Detection introduction:

According to the standard requirements of GB 4208-2008/IEC 60529-2001 "Enclosure Protection Level (IP Code)", conformity assessment tests are conducted on the enclosure protection levels of various products; the maximum testing level is IP68. Conventional product testing levels include: IP23, IP44, IP54, IP55, IP65, IP66, IP67, and IP68 levels. The products we often test include: instruments, junction boxes, switches, lamps, motors, doors, cabinets, box casings for various purposes, waterproof bags for mobile phones and tablets, etc.

After passing the test, a national/internationally recognized product test report can be issued.

Waterproof test method:

IPX1: represents vertical dripping, vertical dripping has no effect, water flow rate is 1mm/min, test is 10min;

IPX2: dripping water at 15 degrees. When each vertical surface of the housing is tilted within the range of 15 degrees, vertical dripping water should have no harmful effects. The water flow rate is 3mm/min, and each tilt position is 2.5min;

IPX3: Water spray test, each vertical surface is exposed to rain within a range of 60 degrees, no harmful effects, water flow 10L/min, test time 10min;

IPX4: Splashing water, splashing water in all directions of the shell has no effect, each vertical surface is exposed to rain within 180 degrees, water flow rate is 10L/min, test time is 10min;

IPX5: Water spraying, spraying water in all directions of the shell has no effect, water flow rate is 12.5L/min, test time is 3min;

IPX6: Violent water spraying in all directions of the shell has no harmful effects, the water flow is 100L/min, and the test time is 3min;

IPX7: Short-term immersion in water. After being immersed in water with a specified pressure for a specified period of time, the amount of water in the shell will not reach a harmful level. It is placed in a diving box, generally at a depth of 1 meter, and the test time is 30 minutes;

IPX8: Continuous immersion, depth 1 meter, immersion time 1 hour, the specific manufacturer and user negotiate the depth and time of immersion.
